W5169 Gustav Stickley Bookstand circa 1901
This is an important piece of work by Gustav Stickley circa 1901. It is a magazine stand or bookcase. It is constructed with flush through tenant construction and double pinned all around and panel sides, as pictured. The stand is with original fumed black finish with minor wear and without any overcoat. Over the years, we have sold only a few of this model, because it is very rare. This one has the best original fumed black finish that we have ever found.
