Description

This is a superb antique early Limbert bookcase from the early 1900’s in very good condition.

The piece is very substantial with thick quarter sawn oak boards with a great original dark finish.

There is keyed through tenon construction on the top and bottom of each side.

The original leaded glass doors have no damage. The hardware is also original.

There are 4 adjustable shelves on each side of the bookcase.

The piece is extremely heavy and bulky and has early form.

The back is in good condition and is signed with the early Limbert paper label.

It is also numbered (very faintly, it looks like “321”). This is a very nice, early piece.
