This is an antique Charles Stickley armchair from the early 1900's Mission and Arts & Crafts period.
It is in excellent condition, and is a very desirable and rare piece.
The chair has a beautiful reddish-brown sheen and retains its original finish.
The wood is in good condition, with no cuts or cracks (most cutout chairs of this type have cracks in the wood).
The seat has its original springs and has been professionally recovered with high quality black leather.
It has true tenon construction, and is sturdy and strong. We also have a settee and other chairs to go with it.
