This is a Superb Antique L&jG Stickley Onondaga Shop Morris Chair from the early 1900’s.
This is a great looking chair that is in excellent condition. Everything is correct on this chair such as; the color, the back with wide slots, the bar to hold the back is original (usually replaced), and the arms are thick and heavy. (See Pictures)
The original seat and back cushion have been recovered with a top quality black hand-rubbed leather filled with cotton and hair. (Not Cheap Foam) The seat is on top of a cotton webbing and not cheap plywood like you see most dealers use. We use a very high-quality leather from Germany and if you compare our seats to the other dealers you will see the difference. We try and make the furniture as time period correct as we can and also we make the seats very comfortable. This settle is sturdy and strong with no repaired or replaced parts and it is ready to be used in your home or business.
