This is a Superb Antique Gustav Stickley Drop Arm Settle from the early 1900’s.
This is a great looking settle that is in very good condition. As you can see the settle is pinned all around with double pins on the backrest and legs.
The original seat has been recovered with a top quality black hand-rubbed leather filled with cotton and hair. (Not Cheap Foam)
The seat is on top of a cotton webbing and not cheap plywood like you see most dealers use. We use a very high-quality leather from Germany and if you compare our seats to the other dealers you will see the difference. We try and make the furniture as time period correct as we can and also we make the seats very comfortable. There are no repairs or replaced parts and this settle is sturdy and strong.
