This is a great looking Morris Chair from the early 1900’s, in excellent condition. It haas excellent quarter sawn oak and design. All 4 pins are original, and the chair has a good original finish and great color. Each arm has through tenon construction, and are pinned. Under every arm, there are two small wide covel. The back is original to the chair. The chair comes with original spring seat, and is makred with Gustav Stickley brand. Note: Last year, we had a pair of Gustav Stickley bow arm chairs. We sold the pair for $28,000.00. This chair is not as early as they are, but is as beautiful as the other chairs. The original seat and cushion back have good, hand spun black leather. Under the seats, a good cotton webbing holds the springs. The chair is sturdy and strong, and the arms are bulky and beautiful. The whole chair is pinned all around, and the back is pinned in 8 places. It is ready to use in your home.
