This is a superb and rare antique L&JG Stickley linen stand or shelf or rack from the early 1900’s Mission and Arts & Crafts periods in very good condition.
The piece is made of excellent quarter sawn oak with an old refinish.
This is a very rare form that may have functioned as a linen or towel rack.
The sides are paneled and there are double pins at three places on either side.
The bottom has two pinned through tenons as well.
Distance between shelves from bottom: 13.5″, 15″, 14″.
The very top has a slatted grill and the sides have a slight arch at the bottom.
This is a rare, un-catalogued form and is signed with an early red decal as pictured.
