Persian Serab Rug 1850s. R5161
This is a nice antique serab oriental rug from the mid-1800’s in very good condition. Some re-piling was done in the past.
The rug has mostly full pile with some areas a little lower in the center.
One end has an old reweave of about 3″ x 12″ in size.
The sides are complete. one ends is complete and the other has a few rows missing.
The ends have been overcast to prevent further losses.
Colors:
Camel hair field and border with red, navy, light blue, gold, salmon, beige.
