Persian Mahal Rug. RR504

This is a nice antique persian mahal oriental rug from the 1930’s in fair condition.

The rug has 100% wool, hand knotted pile that is generally even-low with some lower areas as you can see in the pictures.

Two corners have some missing as do the ends and there is a very small hole at one end.

Otherwise the rug is complete and restorable because there is lots of pile remaining.

The rug has an excellent design and color scheme featuring a very decorative border.

This would be an excellent rug to restore and is even decorative and usable as is and has fantastic antique colors.

Red background with navy border and salmon, ivory, light blue, brown, gold.
