This is a good antique Macey barrister bookcase from the early 1900s Mission and Arts & Crafts?period in very good condition.
The piece is made of excellent quarter sawn oak with a good?original finish with light overcoat.
There is original brass strap hardware on the sides and the?interior hardware is complete and working.
The top three sections are not as deep as the bottom two?and there is a nice step-back transition.
The piece is an unusually large size and the section?heights are 11″, 11″, 11″, 12″, and 12″.
