L&jg Stickley High Back Armchair F8269_1


This is a superb antique L&JG Stickley high back armchair from the early 1900’s Mission and Arts & Crafts period in very good condition.

The piece has very rare form with an unusually high back and interesting arms.

The arms are pinned and have through tenons with corbels.

The back is slatted.

The piece is made of excellent quarter sawn oak with an original finish with normal wear on the arms.

The original spring has been professionally recovered by hand with high quality, hand rubbed leather.

This is a rare and collectible piece.
