This is a very nice antique L&JG Stickley armchair from the early 1900’s Mission and Arts & Crafts period in very good condition.
The piece has great early form with bulky construction and particularly thick, wide arms from the Onondaga Shop era.
The arms are corbelled and have through tenon construction.
The back is slatted and the piece is pinned all over.
The seat has been recovered with thick leather over cotton webbing with a row of decorative tacks.
The piece is sturdy and strong and is very decorative.
It has its original finish with a light overcoat.
