This is a superb antique Limbert bookcase from the early 1900’s Mission and Arts & Crafts period in very good condition.
The piece is made of excellent quarter sawn oak with a good original finish.
The bookcase has good form with pinned through tenons at the top and bottom and arches at the sides and bottom.
The doors have arched frames at the top and the original hammered copper pulls are present (though one is missing the latch).
There are 3 adjustable shelves on each side, the top is splined in several places, and the piece is branded and numbered #312.
This is a highly decorative and well made piece.
