This is a superb antique Lifetime bow arm Morris chair from the early 1900's Mission and Arts & Crafts period in very good condition.
The piece is made of excellent quarter sawn oak with a good original finish.
The chair has excellent bowed arms supported by corbels at the front and back.
The sides have through tenons and the piece is double pinned at the bottom.
The original back brace is present and the original spring seat has been professionally recovered in high quality black leather.
The chair is very heavy and bulky and is sturdy and strong.
This is a very desirable form and is highly decorative and usable.
