Gustav Stickley Even Arm Settle F7102

Description

This is a superb antique Gustav Stickley even arm settle from the early 1900’s Mission and Arts & Crafts period in excellent condition.

The piece is made of superb quarter sawn oak with an excellent original finish and great color.

It has superb form with large slats at the sides and a single wide crest rail at the back.

The settle has massive form and is made of boards over 1″ thick.

There are large exposed through tenons at three places on each side and there are double pins at the bottom and pins at the top.

The original spring seat is present and has been recovered with high quality vinyl in excellent condition.

It signed with an early red decal as pictured and is model #225.

The settle is a rare piece in exceptional condition and is highly decorative and collectible.
