This is a superb rare antique Gustav Stickley bookcase from the early 1900’s Mission and Arts & Crafts period in excellent condition.
The piece is made of superb quarter sawn oak with an excellent original finish and great color.
This is a rare and desirable model designed by Harvey Ellis and features and overhanging top and an exaggerated arch at the base.
The interior is divided in two with 3 adjustable quarter sawn oak shelves in each side.
The doors consists of four separate panes of glass with two panes of leaded glass at the top.
There are two exposed through tenons at the bottom of each side and the bottom is double pinned.
It has 7 adjustable shelves
The original key is present and the back is paneled.
The bookcase is marked on the back with an early red decal. This is a very rare and exceptional piece and is highly decorative and collectible.
