This is a nice, rare antique Gustav Stickley armchair from the early 1900’s Mission and Arts & Crafts period in good condition.
The piece has excellent, early and bulky form with an inverted “V” crest rail, wide and thick arms, and exposed through tenons on the top, front, and back.
It is made of excellent quarter sawn oak with an original finish with some wear and added color.
There are double pins on the top and bottom and the arms have pinned corbels.
The spring seat has been professionally recovered with high quality, hand rubbed leather.
It is signed with an early red Gustav Stickley decal.
