This is a superb antique signed watercolor from 1898 by artist J. Wesley Little in excellent condition.
The piece is titled “Newman’s Fleet” and is signed in the bottom right corner.
The piece has been mounted and framed some time in the past (not original), but does retain its original backing as well as other provenance on the back.
It is noted that J. W. Little died in 1923.
The piece is an impressionist watercolor and is very well done.
