This is a rare antique El Camino Real bell dated 1906 from Southern California in very good condition.
The piece appears to be all original and has an excellent base with classic form.
The bell reads “1769 – 1906 / El Camino Real”.
The top of the base says ” The Kings Highway Mission Bell Guide Post Marking El Camino Real”.
The beneath the base is marked “designed by Mrs. ASC Forbes”.
This is a rare collectible piece of history in unusual condition.
