This is a unique antique Arts & Crafts blanket chest from the early 1900s Mission period in very good condition.
The piece is made of thick oak with an original finish with a thin overcoat.
It is paneled all around and has a cedar lining.
It has a unique design with thick posts with beveled edges that extend above the surface.
There is also excellent large brass hardware.
The chest is extremely heavy and sturdy and is signed by the maker as pictured.
There are a couple a stable stress cracks from normal use as you can see in the pictures but the piece is still sturdy and strong.
