Description
This is an Antique Rare Van Erp Large Hammered Brass Center Piece from the early 1900’s.
This piece was made by a man named Van Erp who worked on an army base on Mare Island outside of San Francisco from the years 1900-1908.
He made the top of this piece from an old brass casing and the bottom we believe is made from hammered copper.
The bottom part has nice hammering and has a great original patina. He marked his pieces with a WRA.
There are no dents or anything wrong with this piece and it truly is a great piece. Van Erp put some heavy stuff inside the base which makes the piece very heavy and sturdy.
This is a great piece of history as well as a great piece to look at. We do have several items listed and if you want more than one item we can combine shipping to save you money.
