This is an antique Kazak Oriental rug from the 1800s in fair condition.
The rug has 100% wool, hand knotted pile that is mostly even-low with a lower center.
The foundation is also wool.
The rug has a superb design and color scheme and is highly collectible.
The are some thin spots in the center, tears at the bottom, and fraying at one side. It is a rare size and is very high quality.
This is a great candidate for restoration.
