This is an Antique Arts & Crafts Sikes Chair Company Morris Chair from the early 1900s. This is a nice morris chair that was made in Buffalo, New York. This chair is marked with a paper tag and it has the original finish. The original spring seat has been recovered with a top quality black hand-rubbed leather filled with cotton and hair. The seat is on top of a cotton webbing and not cheap plywood like you see most dealers use. We use a very high-quality leather from Germany and if you compare our seats to the other dealers you will see the difference. We try and make the furniture as time period correct as we can and also we make the seats very comfortable. The spring seat has been professionally adjusted and is very comfortable to sit on.
