This is a superb rare antique Gustav Stickley commode or cabinet from the early 1900’s Mission and Arts & Crafts period in very good condition.
The piece is made of superb quarter sawn oak with an excellent original finish.
It has rare form with a linen or towel rack at the top and drawers above cabinet doors on the bottom.
The side are chamfered and each leg has three exposed through tenons.
The towel rack aslo feature through tenons and the piece is pinned all over.
The apron on the front has a slight arch and the original massive pyramidal wooden pulls are present.
The commode has great bulky form and is very sturdy and strong.
The top has a couple minor stains as pictured.
The piece is signed on the back with an early 1902 large red decal.
This is a rare and collectible piece with highly decorative form.
