This is an unusual antique Arts & Crafts high back hall chair from the early 1900's Mission period in very good condition.
The piece appears to be made of mahogany and has a very impressive design.
The back is extremely tall and the piece has superb carvings all over, including turned finials, cutouts, barley twists on the posts, and other carvings on the seat.
The chair has a unique and decorative look and is unusually high quality.
There are a couple typical stress cracks on the back section as you can see in the pictures.
These are not unusual and are stable and the piece is still strong and usable.
