Turkish Sevas RR998
This is a superb antique Turkish sevas oriental rug from the early 1900s in very good condition.
The rug has 100% wool, hand knotted pile that is even-high except for a minor lower area pointed out in the pictures.
The sides and ends are complete and there is short fringe at the ends.
The rug has a great all over design with an attractive turkish color scheme featuring a unique violet border with serapi-like design.
The rug is very high quality and is extremely decorative and usable.
