This is a superb antique large L&JG Stickley Settle from the early 1900’s Mission and Arts & Crafts period in very good condition.
The piece is made of excellent quarter?sawn oak with a light original finish.
It is have very heavy and bulky form and has a great?slatted back and a crest rail with a slight “V” angle.
It is double pinned on the top and bottom.
The wide arms have exposed through tenons and large corbels.
The original spring seats have been professionally recovered with high quality leather.
The posts?have quadrilinear construction. It is signed with a metal tag.
