This is a good antique Michigan Chair Co. spindled even arm?settee from the early 1900s Mission and Arts & Crafts period?in very good condition.
The piece is made of thick quarter sawn oak with excellent figure.
The piece has unusual and distinctive form with spindles?at the back and under the arms.
There are corbels supporting the front seat rail and?there is a flip up storage compartment under the seat.
The bench is very thick and heavy and is a very decorative?and unique design.
