This is a superb rare antique Globe large file cabinet from the early 1900s Mission and Arts & Crafts period in very good condition.
The piece is made of excellent quarter sawn oak with an overcoated original finish.
There is original brass hardware on each of the dovetailed drawers.
The sides and back are paneled and there are 2 pull out desks in the middle.
The piece is signed “Globe” (later Globe Wernicke) and is extremely heavy and well made.
This is a very rare and impressive piece.
