This is a great, small antique primitive blanket chest from the late 1800’s in good condition.
The chest appears to be sized for a child as it is unusually small.
There is superb grain painting all over as you can see in the pictures with wear only on the top.
The sides are doweled together.
There are some cracks around the hinges as pictured but the lid is very stable and usable.
