This is a nice early armchair by Gustav Stickley from the early 1900’s Mission and Arts & Crafts period in excellent condition.
The piece is very large and bulky like the early pieces.
The arms are corbelled, pinned and have through tenons.
The cushion has been recovered with high quality, hand rubbed leather over cotton fill and sits on a woven cane support.
The chair is made of mahogany and appears to have a refinish with a light overcoat.
