This is a good antique L&JG Stickley Morris chair from the early 1900s Mission and Arts & Crafts period in very good condition.
The piece is made of excellent quarter sawn oak with an original finish.
It has classic, open arm form with pinned through tenons at the front and back of the arms and corbels beneath.
The bottom features double pins and the front seat rail has the distinctive L&JG Stickley bevel.
The upholstery has been professionally redone in high quality, black leather with springs in the seat cushion.
The chair is sturdy and strong and has the original back brace.
It is signed with a brand as pictured and is very decorative and usable.
