Persian Khorasan RR735

This is a superb, rare antique persian khorasan oriental rug from the 1860s to 1870s in very good condition.

The rug has 100% wool, hand knotted pile that is even throughout.

The sides and ends are complete and short fringe is present on the ends.

The rug has a superb color scheme with a great mix of light blue and salmon the design is excellent with a multi-stage border and a large central medallion.

This design would work well with serapi and heriz rugs.

Most khorasan rugs from this era are heavily worn, but this one is in unusually good condition.

It comes in an excellent over size and is a very rare and decorative collectible rug.

Wine-red background with blue border and ivory, salmon, rust, brown, gold.
