This is a superb rare Gustav Stickley music cabinet from the early 1900s Mission and Arts & Crafts period in very good condition.
The piece is a rare and desirable form and has original amber, textured glass panes.
It is made of excellent quarter sawn oak with a good original finish.
There is original hammered copper hardware with an original patina.
The piece is very thick and heavy and has a nice gallery at the top for display.
There are double exposed though tenons at the top and bottom of the sides and the back is paneled.
The interior has 2 adjustable shelves and the piece is pinned at the top and bottom.
The cabinet is signed with a brand as pictured and is model #70.
This is a desirable piece and is a very versatile form for many uses other than music storage.
