Antique Afghan Oriental Rug Rr2777
This is a beautiful antique Afghan rug in very good condition in rare size. Most rugs in this type you see from early 1900's when this rug is a 19 ct. from around 1850's.
The rug come on one side with most original flat weave Kilim and the other end missing few rows as can be seen on many images.
The foundation is wool and so the pile, mostly the rug is with low pile with full pile on sides but you can see wear of area of 5 inch by 5 inch around the center of the rug with one area of 5 inch by 5 inch on one end (see pic.).
The rug is sturdy and strong and in useable condition.
These is a reweave of 0.2 x 0.1 inch area as pictured.
The rug is very attractive and pleasant to the eyes and not like new Afghan rugs of today with harsh colors.
This rug need 100% rubber pad in case you are using on hard floor and we will provide you for free.
